A double header this weekend!

Greetings Everyone!
I am teaching a double header this weekend:  On Saturday its Ladies On a Pedestal this is a fun relaxing class of vintage goodness but don't think you won't learn anything. Come help me reuse and recycle old book covers, vintage lace, ephemera, wall paper, sequins and beads. On Sunday I will be teaching one of my most requested classes: Altoid Tin Shrines.  You can see more sample of classes and details below:

Saturday June 9th
Class: Ladies on a Pedestal
Description: Ever wonder what you are going to do with all those precious bits and pieces of stuff that you’ve been collecting for years?
Starting with an old book cover for a base we will create a dimensional collage using your choice of one of my beautiful vintage Ladies. We will then surround our lady with left over bits of  lace, ephemera, beads, decorative papers and jewelry to create a  detailed and one of a kind  work of art.
When completed, your lady will truly deserve to be on her Pedestal.                                Items to bring: you’re favorite pair of scissors and all those little items that you have been hoarding and collecting.
Time: 10:30 to 4:30 we will take a lunch break at 12:30
Price: $55.00
Class size limit: 4 students

Sunday June 10th
Class: Altoid Tin Shrines
Description: Ever want to keep someone or something special close to your heart?  How about that small very precious gift?  Does it need a special place all its own? How about creating shrines to hold these special memories or gifts?  In this class using collage and assemblage we will create these special places inside altoid tins.  Your shrine can then be slipped into a pocket or purse to keep close to you at all times. Or it can be placed on a shelf as a special keepsake.  Pocket Shrines also make great gifts to give to a loved one.
Items to bring: Scissors, Paintbrushes any special items small enough to fit into an altoid tin.
Time: 10:30 to 2:30 Lunch break at 12:30
Price: 35.00 Price reduced to thank the many students that have taken this class.
Class size limit: 4 students

Lets face it-for most of us times have been tough.  We are all working hard and in many cases doing double  duty.  But its time to treat yourself with the gift of art.  Art will refresh your mind and restore your spirit.  So come down to the studio and play!
