Altered Books this weekend !

Greetings Everyone! In the midst of tax mania I am trying to put the finishing touches on Altered Books #2 starting this saturday night. This time we will be cutting and adding windows and doors to our altered books. I will demo basic window/door technique and also what I like to call a pass through window. You can see scans of them above. Here are the details of this class: Saturday April 10th Where: LaDiDa café in Half Moon Bay Class: Altered Books #2- Windows and Doors Description: In this second altered book class we will experiment with creating windows and doors. Windows and doors are a dramatic way to present your theme. They are interactive and draw the viewer’s eye deeper into the art. So come and add a little mystery and magic to your altered book by adding windows and doors. Kit items to bring: Paintbrushes, Scissors, Gel Medium, Gesso, cutting mat and xacto knife and any images or personal elements that you would like to use in your book.
