Published in Somerset Studio!

Greetings everyone!
I told many of you in class that I was due to have a technique published in a special edition of Somerset Studio titled Black and White. However last week I received an email stating that the special issue would not be published after all. Of course I have been very disappointed and a little down. But imagine my surprize when I went to the post office today and found this issue of Somerset Studio with my technique spotlighted! This was a much needed boost this week. My technique and collages are on pages 146 and 147 of the Winter Gallery. Many of you that have taken my classes will recogize this technique from my class Designs in Gesso. As you can see from the scans above I have chosen to leave my Designs unpainted-a very difficult thing for me. All of the photos in the collages are my own. They were taken from Grave stones at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.

Hi Connie,
I gave you a blog award. You can find it here:
http://gallorganico.blogspot.com/

You supposed to copy the badge on to your page, list 7 interesting facts about yourself and pass it on to others.

Feel free to be as active with it as you like, but I did want to let you know that you do inspire me!
